A great local taqueria in Logan Square. The homemade salsa is super fresh and spicy. I recommend the chicken tacos; I don't care for grilled chicken tacos, but these are filled with tender rotisserie chicken meat--probably dark meat. Very flavorful. I usually get them topped with guac.

The prices here are great, as you would expect for a taqueria. They also have an enormous tortilla soup that comes with cheese, sour cream and avocado for like $2 or something crazy. I haven't ever had alcohol here but I know they serve it as well.

The vegetarian burrito is good, cheap and quick, but overall piled full of lettuce which leaves it a tad bland. I've also had the cheese and onion enchiladas. They were cheese and onion enchiladas. I can only speak for their vegetarian options here, so this Logan Square favorite may be entirely different for carnivores, but I've had better. Even so, I still stop in for a quick bite when my stomach's growling and I'm on the go. Try Bar Don Chema just a tad north on California. The chips are out of the world and the vegetarian meals generally have more taste. Beer is served in a frosted mug and garnished around the rim with delicious spices.
