Were it not for the name, you’d never know this place was kosher. Okay, maybe the yarmulke-clad guy running the place will tip you off, or the fact that there’s no meat on the menu. Still, the main dishes—pizza (a crisp bottom crust gives the slices a bit of crunch), lasagna (made to order and served in its own bubbling dish) and a few Middle Eastern dishes (such as the well-done, but still tasty, falafel)—don’t taste like they’ve been made according to ancient dietary laws. Which is exactly the point.
