The couple who run this tidy Thai joint are a bit unpredictable as far as sticking to regular hours, but the loyalists who flock there don’t seem to mind. That’s thanks in part to the owners’ sweet demeanor, but also to the tasty eats. Most salads have the sour-salty-spicy kick Thai food is known for; our favorites are the gingery ground pork with peanuts (nam sod) and the grilled shrimp with lemongrass. The well-balanced green curry is packed with bamboo, eggplant and basil and, per usual, your choice of meat.
