This Loop shop is a tiny sliver of a storefront, similar to the Gold Coast’s More. And the frosting shots on the counter can’t help but bring to mind that other downtown cupcakery, Sugar Bliss. But the mom-and-daughter owners and the familiar flavors—airy vanilla cake with sugary frosting; moist, deeply-red red velvet; old-fashioned, not-too-chocolately chocolate—remind us most of Molly’s, with a touch of More’s sophistication.
