Time Out says

Already known for their creatively topped tamales, this brick-and-mortar location for the Tamale Spaceship food truck allows the lively lucha libres to expand into the taco world. The thin homemade tortillas are barely up to the barrage of the saucy and intensely beefy barbacoa, but while messy as all hell, each shred of the rich short ribs is worth staining your fingers to savor.

I love the flavor of a really Mexican home made food. The best vegetarian tamal( rajas con queso. Cheese and pepper) and my favorite taco (Barbacoa) incredible amazing food. :)

Tamale Station is my new favorite...tacos, tamales, guac, short ribs...yes, yes, yes, yes!! The thing is, none of these compare to their elote (spiced corn).  I am addicted.  The staff couldn't be more gracious and caring - the owner can counsel as well as any shrink or bartender in the city!! I feel so comfortable here, its like this is an extension of my own kitchen - but its the part that tasty food comes from.
