Even before learning the name of chef Aaron Crumbaugh’s latest project (which he launched after leaving the Peninsula), you’ll figure out that beef is the focus by just catching a glimpse of the steer horns on his all-black truck. More specifically, Wagyu is the menu’s foundation, with options like Wagyu banh mi, Wagyu tacos, Wagyu fat fries and, of course, a Wagyu burger with a six-ounce patty and pickled accompaniments.
