This place had us at the premeal hand towels: aspirinlike tablets that grow into towelettes when servers pour hot water over them. But this pint-size spot offers more than just gimmicks. Sushi man Mitch takes pride in serving oversize nigiri (that’s how he was taught, and he’s not changing) and creative rolls (we love the Crazy Horse combo of tuna, salmon, yellowtail and avocado topped with tobiko). Non–sushi eaters can opt for traditional Japanese dishes or house specials.
