Trench, the newest establishment from the owners of the former Trenchermen, aims to redefine the contemporary American Tavern with Michelin-starred Chef Jared Wentworth at the helm. The menu features hearty dishes such as Kentucky fried quail with southern braised green beans, bone marrow-cord bread and country gravy along with lighter fare such as crudo of hamachi with black lime, cashew, shiso, radish, Meyer lemon and chili vinaigrette. The bar menu is designed to stand up to the food with a wine list focusing on "new" American products and a bar menu featuring instantly recognizable and crafted classics. The updated space where Trenchermen formerly stood now features white washed brick in the dining room mimicking the original bath house subway tile and mirrors lining the back wall to open up the room. The DJ booth now permanently resides in the bar setting up for long nights of dancing away to vinyl.
