This sunny salon is all pinup-girl glam and features a rose- and thorn–laden mural penned by a local tattoo artist, and everything from swing to rock & roll is pumped through the speakers. Bargain-priced cuts ($20 and up) and color ($50) make up the bulk of the service menu. Whoever said punk and class don’t mix?

Any hair salon offering me booze as I walk in the door and cranking up New Wave and Punk music on the sound system is sure to win over my heart. Add in affordable prices and a rainbow of amazing color and I’m a lifelong fan. Everyone at the salon is super friendly too, like hanging out with your friends. I’ve been getting my hair dyed all sorts of fun colors for years at Twisted and they’ve kept it bright, fun and healthy. Ask for Amber, she’s my girl and a total sweetheart who always makes me feel like a million bucks!
