Occupation Student--Wrapping up my master's in Leadership and Policy Studies (taking a break from political consultancy) What makes you a good catch? Whether a home-cooked meal needs to be made, an evening out on the town planned, or simply a great bike ride around the city ending up with a picnic on a weekend day needs to be taken, I'm your guy! I'm well educated, well cultured, with plenty experiences to share—basically, the rare eclectic yet grounded man you hear so much about but never find!
What’s your idea of a perfect first date? The place could matter less to me as long as there's plenty of laughter and story telling--light and fun is key!
Favorite hangout The Hungry Brain: With an amazing jukebox, cheap drinks, low lights and comfy couches and chairs, there's no better place to be!
Secret talent It's in no way useful, but in college to nab a few extra credits I took Mongolian throat chanting, and for better or worse I can still do it!
Describe your ideal match She should be honest, compassionate and affectionate--someone with Midwestern/Southern sensibilities mixed with a bit of an adventurous edge. Someone who would be just as up for going to see a game at Wrigley as heading to a show at Schubas or The Empty Bottle. Also, as I have an eight-month-old Vizsla-mix puppy, my ideal match has to be a dog lover! Name one thing a date could do that would make you go crazy (in a good way). An ability to casually make decreasingly subtle Arrested Development references throughout our date until I finally realize it and call her out on it.
Name one thing a date could do that would make you go crazy (in a bad way). Excessive smoking. A smoke break here and there is fine, but if we're apart every 10 minutes because you need to run outside and smoke--no thanks.
