What do you like best about yourself?
My sense of humor and shoes. I have really good shoes. I can carry a conversation with the best of them. Oh, and I'm an amazing kisser. That, and I'm a pretty dapper dresser, considering this is the Midwest and all.
What's your idea of a perfect first date?
Something casual, involving wine, in a place where we can talk and get to know one another. I like sitting on the couches at Uncommon Ground on a random weeknight with a bottle of wine. It's quiet, casual, gay-friendly without being filled with gay boys looking for the next big thing.
What's the worst date you've ever had?
We met online and after 2 or 3 weeks of emailing, texting back and forth, all that good stuff, we finally agreed to meet in person, 9pm sharp. I was even a few minutes early (unheard of for me). He never showed. But dammit, I enjoyed a beer, talked to a few people at the bar and chalked it up to the fact that I was just too dazzling in reality.
Number one dealbreaker
I was going to say smoking but I think I could learn to deal with that. My mate needs to be compassionate to me, the world at large, and himself.
