Life is an adventure. So I always like to start something new, by trying something new—wine tasting, new restaurant, trapeze, you name it. And I love to laugh. The perfect first date would be one where I couldn't stop laughing.

I guess it would depend on my mood. I'm a huge foodie—so do "the restaurants of Chicago" count as an answer? Of course, I do like hanging out at home, or my friends' places, or cafés.

Describe your ideal match
Funny, smart, and nonaddict should be a given. I want a man, that knows what he wants, and isn't afraid to go after it. Someone strong and grounded—someone who makes me feel safe, who'll be there for me, when I need him. Ultimately, I'm looking for good timing. Love is the greatest thing in the world—but without the right timing, the endings aren't happy. And there has to be chemistry. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.

Be a gentleman—nowadays, those are few and far between.

It's a huge turnoff when a guy tries too hard to impress me, and ends up making up stuff in order to do it. I mean, come on, man! Be honest, be genuine—it shows.
