More than 200 vendors hawk their antique housewares, furniture, ephemera, clothing and more at this indoor-outdoor festival. Stop in for vintage clothes and jewelry, a vinyl swap meet, a fancy food market and global goods bazaar or bring your own items for appraisal. This event typically occurs on the last weekend of each month. During the warm-weather months of May–September, the market adds an outdoor area, offering even more vintage shopping and a beer garden.

I do enjoy going but admission and item prices are outrageous. It's fun to go look at items but you will see the same items month to month because sellers don't budge much on prices. I'm not saying you can't find deals but this is less flea market and more antique store.

I recommend looking on Gilt or Groupon type sites for cheaper admission ($5 instead of $8). Also, the outdoor season from May-September is the best because the vendors bring more knick knacks and furniture instead of mostly clothing/accessories.

If your looking for unique finds definitely check out the Randolph Street Market. They have a lot of the same vendors as the Kane County flea market, but have some city based vendors as well. The items for sale range from bookshelves to vintage Ferragamo shoes. I bought at least 10 items at last years market that have become some of my favorite pieces!
