This Mag Mile boutique creates a sporty shopping experience by displaying merch in nontraditional ways: Instead of standard racks and shoe cubbies, clothes hang on weight lifting equipment or locker-room hooks, and sneakers perch in track starting blocks. The location also features the only “mi adidas” unit in the Midwest—basically a gear bar where customers customize their sneakers, cleats, basketball high-tops—you name it—to match their individual style and performance needs by, say, adding more cushioning or tweaking the colors.
