Alexis Bittar jewelry boutique is an installment of the successful New York City line specializing in unique and upscale pieces. Each season the designer focuses on different animals, resulting in pieces such as earring where a monkey dangles by the feet from your earlobe and hold a stone in his hands. Alongside the unique designs are vintage pieces that Alexis collected through his travels and at various estate sales including a huge carved wooden face hanging from a chain of alternating gold and wood links. The simple, unfussy atmosphere of the Wicker Park store is in contrast to the often incredibly detailed pieces.
