At this borderline big box, you won’t always get five-star service, but you will get a ridonkulous selection of beer, wine and spirits—not to mention classes, tastings and samples. It’s the Costco model and we can’t complain. Neither can our Midwest relatives who are known to drive six hours just to stock their liquor cabinets. Bonus for the Orthodox set: Binny’s boasts a sizable selection of kosher booze.

Binny's is the greatest gift to drinkers in and around Chicago. Stock up on booze at reasonable prices, find hard-to-track-down liquors and uncover all kinds of local options you didn't even know about. The beer selection really can't be meet at other liquor stores in the city. I always stock up at Binny's before a party!
The fairly-recent renovations of the Binny's in River North opened up their beer section to span three super long aisles and include a small 24-pack domestic nook (along with other big box finds). It's a one stop shop if you're looking for a wide variety of libations.
