The bull’s-eye company debuts its new smaller, urban concept with a two-story State Street outpost in the former home of Carson Pirie Scott (CityTarget will also open in Los Angeles and Seattle this month) on Wednesday 25. Since this is the first Target located in a U.S. Historic Landmark, the company promises a sleek store design that highlights architect Louis Sullivan’s touches. As for products, look for the usual Target offerings (groceries, everyday essentials, apparel), as well as designer collabs and a Pret A Manger. 1 S State St (312-279-2133, target.com).
