Celebrate Earth Day early with an ecofriendly spa treatment.

Allyu This sprawling ecofriendly space features a meditation area made with cob, mesquite flooring, clay walls and reclaimed barn wood surrounding ten treatment rooms, where guests can enjoy services such as a Dead Sea mud wrap ($125). Aestheticians are all trained in Chinese massage techniques—signature pedicures ($50), which use Spa Ritual’s organic-only products, incorporate reflexology. Top it off with a workshop space and an infrared sauna said to boost circulation and intensify detoxification. 600 W Chicago Ave (312-755-1313). El: Brown, Purple (rush hrs) to Chicago. Bus: 8, 66. Mon–Fri 10am–8pm; Sat 9am–8pm; Sun 10am–6pm.

Blueberry Moon Whisk away spring allergies with a neti massage (aromatic steam inhalation and facial massage for $45), or sink into deep relaxation with a fusion stone massage (hot stones and the Aveda Pure Flower and Plant Essence for $125) at Lincoln Park’s Aveda-concept salon and spa. You can count on all-natural products thanks to the Aveda affiliation. Better yet? Your aesthetician will give you a complimentary makeup touch-up to highlight that after-spa glow. 2108 N Halsted St (773-529-3333). El: Brown, Purple (rush hrs) to Armitage. Bus: 8, 73, 74. Mon–Thu 11am–9pm; Fri 9am–9pm; Sat 9am–6pm; Sun 10am–5pm.

Ruby Room It’s a healing sanctuary, a spa, an elixir bar, a crystal bar, a hair salon, a meditation studio, an educational laboratory, an apothecary and a makeup-to-lifestyle-products retail shop all rolled into one space. While the focus skews more to your energetic system, with such offerings as intuitive-energy and crystal-energy healing, you’ll find an above-average organic fruit enzyme peel in the Ruby Deluxe Arcona Facial ($175), and organic essential oil–infused massages abound. 1743–45 W Division St (773-235-2323). El: Blue to Division. Bus: 9, 56, 70. Mon–Wed 10am–7pm; Thu–Fri 10am–9pm; Sat 9am–7pm; Sun 10am–7pm.

Soulistic Studio & Spa It’s got enough fitness classes on the schedule to qualify as a full-blown gym (belly dancing, yoga and Pilates classes, to name a few), but the vibe is decidedly spa-y at this West Town spot. Reserve a 30-minute session in the sauna and steam rooms ($30), or treat yourself to a service, such as the soothing Thai hot compress for achy muscles ($100) or paprika purifying facial ($90–$135), which incorporates certified organic, handmade Eminence products. If pain is your pleasure, go for an organic, sugar-based wax. 805 N Milwaukee Ave (312-226-7685). El: Blue to Chicago. Bus: 8, 56, 66. Mon–Thu 6am–8pm; Fri 8am–6pm; Sat 8:30am–5pm; Sun 9am–2pm.

The Spa by Asha Located inside the LEED-certified, eco-conscious Hotel Felix, the Spa by Asha covers everything from botanical skin resurfacing facials ($135) and chakra-balancing massages ($110) to ear candling ($45) and prenatal bikini waxing ($50–$75). The spa uses Aveda products, which means the technicians will only slather plant-based, organic products on your body. 111 W Huron St (312-256-8000). El: Red to Chicago. Bus: 22, 36, 29, 66. Mon–Fri 9am–9pm; Sat 8am–7pm; Sun 10am–6pm.
