Four chain stores that sell wedding apparel

Nothing against fancy-schmancy bridal boutiques, but we’re intrigued by the new trend of budget-friendly chains adding wedding wear to their inventory. So we checked in on their nuptials-inspired merch—and were pleasantly surprised. Nary a cookie-cutter look in the bunch.

Our favorite spot for preppy wardrobe staples also offers wedding apparel in a similarly crisp, classic spirit. Come here for wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses in every hue and silhouette imaginable, tuxes and suits for grooms and groomsmen, and even flower girl and ring bearer outfits. Jewelry, hair accessories and shoes are also available.

The gowns have a gorgeous bohemian vibe, and the jewelry, accessories, intimates and shoes are beautifully bridal, but also the sort of thing you’ll wear post-wedding. There is also a smattering of home-decor items for your registry.

The separates section allows you to mix and match long or short skirts with a variety of tops. Think tiers, feathers and silk. It’s old-timey and completely current all at once.
