True blue
The shop Shane has disappeared from Southport Avenue, and Cerulean 1 has taken over. The boutique carries many of the same casual options as the former tenant, including 7 Diamonds men’s shirts and Rebecca Beeson dresses, as well as accessories. And, as its blue name suggests, a nice selection of premium denim. 3657 N Southport Ave between Addison St and Waveland Ave, 773-525-6870.

Bargain basement
The chances of uncovering an awesome old-school find at Clothes Optional has just doubled, now that the Lakeview resale shop has opened its basement to shoppers. As always, the store stocks used clothes from brands like Levi’s, Lacoste, Gloria Vanderbilt, and Le Tigre, as well as retouched vintage clothing lines such as Katemade and SquirrleyGee. 2918 N Clark St at Oakdale Ave, 773-296-6630.

Curb your enthusiasm
You’ve just left for a road trip and realize you forgot to pack a few essentials. Luckily, if you need shampoo or moisturizer on your way out of town, Kiehl’s can help. Thanks to the store’s new curbside service, you can get your goods pronto. Just call the shop on your way, and a store clerk will be waiting outside with your order. Problem solved. 907 W Armitage Ave between Fremont and Bissell Sts, 773-665-2515.
