Ever feel like you need to unplug and step away from the internet? Head to Kibbitznest Books, Brews & Blarney–it's mandatory there. You won't find any wifi in this "bookbar," which also discourages excessive use of smartphones. Laptops must be kept in their cases or out of sight, and instead of refreshing Facebook, the owners hope you’ll browse the books (both used and new), hang out, play games and chat with other guests over snacks like Chicago-style hot dogs, cheese or ice cream, along with beer, wine and slow-brewed coffee.
