Best bookstore in the can find books that I didn't even know existed.

Best used bookstore I've ever been to and it's been a solid, main-stay in the neighborhood for decades. The staff is super friendly and supportive of local endeavors, books are fairly priced, and the selection is fantastic and well-maintained.

Tall bookshelves and mazes of books make Myopic such a lovely place to hang out. It's multi-level and stuffed with books, so go prepared to spend at least an hour or two getting lost in all the literature.

Myopic is part maze, part bookstore and it's simply amazing. The multi-leveled shop has a staircase that winds up to the top floor, with every kind of literature you can imagine in between. In terms of adorable bookstores in Chicago, this one takes the cake.

This labyrinth of a bookstore is just plain fun to shop in, if you like old books that is (I love old books). You can always find something great in here, whether you just need something quick and silly to take to the beach or something more challenging to get you through a long commute. No backpacks! No photos!
