As you might guess from the name, South Loop Loft began in owner Beth Berke's loft in Chicago's South Loop. It's since moved into a two-story, 6,000-square-foot showroom in River West. Accustomed to buying and selling pieces due to frequent moves around the country, Berke fell in love with home decor through the process of furnishing her own home. Fast-forward to the present day, and South Loop Loft has been serving Chicago's design novices and professionals alike. The space offers a curated selection of home decor, accessories, lighting, rugs, art, furnishings and more, spanning all decades and price points. Between the French antique fireplace mantel, stained glass windows, and velvet Chesterfield sofas, you'll never want to leave—luckily, there's an additional 8,000-square-foot warehouse with even more treasures just 10 minutes away.
