1. Start with reclaimed lumber you�ve hand-picked from the warehouse supply. Choose between a new or rustic look.

2. Cut the boards to length. Yep, you�ll be comfy with the saw in no time.

3. Assemble the bench in a shockingly short amount of time. Less than three hours!

4. Sand the bench to your liking. You might even opt to grab a can of natural finish from eco-friendly paint store Colori(2243 W North Ave, 773-252-4923) on your way home to make it nice and smooth.
