These sprawling resale shops (you'll also find locations in Lakeview and Oak Park) are much tidier than thrift stores, with quality clothing (much of it vintage) and used furniture. They take donations, too, leaving you no justification for being a pack rat.

Love this place! Buried treasures and plenty others in sight. Once, a Pottery Barn mint condition sofa for $400 right in the entry. A steal!
I love all the Brown Elephants, but this one is inside an old theatre, adding to its inimitable charm.
Always something of interest in this resale shop. Helpful staff and an ever changing inventory of great finds. I found a vintage lamp worth way more than I paid.
I love this place. I try and make it in at least every week, week and a half because their inventory is always changing and the price is right (I hate that phrase). I love that the store is so spacious, too, as a lot of resale places tend to be quite cramped (and often smelly). But the space isn't just spacious, it's also beautiful. Fabulous and ornate. But the most important part is that sales go to support the Howard Brown Health Center. This place is great.
