The Improv

When the going gets tough, the tough get creative. After five years of operating as a design studio that happened to sell furniture on the side, Heather Conrad and Josh Rink embraced the retail side of their venture by opening a one-stop shop in Bucktown in the fall of 2009. In addition to offering home consultations, in which they help clients rearrange a room, the trio curates a collection of locally made and refurbished furniture (mostly chairs and sofas) and art.
