Purity Day Spa (CLOSED)

Intimacy and coziness reign at Purity, where owner Michelle Woodard has converted two two-bedroom apartments into one giant living room. The space is obviously designed as an apartment rather than a spa, but facial, massage, nail, changing and relaxation rooms are all outfitted with soothing music, soft sheets, plush robes and homey touches like a snack basket. The menu is thorough and the prices are reasonable, but the spa parties are easily the best deal: For $75 a head, each guest enjoys a 45-minute pedicure and the choice between a 30-minute massage or a 30-minute facial.
