Bloom's husband-and-wife team intends to use its studio to create a community in which “the pursuit of health and happiness is a normal part of daily life.” Sounds like a good plan. To fulfill that mission, the couple offer an array of classes, many of which are geared to prenatal and new moms without excluding the nonparents among us. Classes are taught in the hatha-yoga tradition with an emphasis on proper alignment. Bloom also features regular innovative and ongoing workshops and yoga-inspired social events, and they all take place in its sunny, new environs.
