500 swimmers will be making waves in the Chicago River Swim, benefitting ALS research at Northwestern University, youth swim education in underserved communities and programs aimed at closing the racial gap in swim access. Swimmers will launch near the Dearborn Street Bridge and finish at the Clark Street Bridge. Spectators can line the Chicago Riverwalk to cheer them on as participants tackle 1- and 2-mile courses.
