This Pilates studio’s teaching style is true-blue to Joseph H. Pilate’s original exercise. Two large rooms—one for mat exercises, the other for apparatus work—are outfitted with everything needed to develop postural awareness, maximize strength and flexibility, and improve core muscle power—all in a nonimpact way. Group and individual classes are available at beginner and intermediate levels. A group class is $15, and the studio offers package deals for private sessions as well as reduced rates for training with an apprentice.
