This Lincoln Park Pilates and yoga studio is a lot larger than it looks. A steep and narrow staircase brings you to a small door leading to the lower level, where Pilates mat classes are offered. The upper level, however, is where you want to be—Cindy Reid, owner and former dancer, has recently expanded her operations. Inside, the sun pours through the bay windows and onto a full range of new Pilates equipment. Pilates Fundamentals, an ongoing class, is designed for those who want to take it slow or who suffer from compromised biomechanical function. World Dance Beat and yoga classes are also offered, as is Reid’s personal creation of Piloga, a combination of challenging yoga poses and Pilates mat series. No experience necessary. If you feel the need for a postclass massage, that service is also part of the expansion.
