Time Out says
Swami Vishnu-devananda is the founder of this volunteer-run nonprofit organization that boasts 29 member studios worldwide. The Edgewater center opened its doors 30 years ago and classical hatha yoga has reigned supreme since. The loft studio is used mostly for yoga courses, described as intensive introductions to the specifics of Sivananda practice, while the main studio holds regular classes. There’s also a small boutique upstairs offering books and yoga accessories. On Tuesdays, a vegetarian meal is served at 6:30pm, and on Saturdays there’s lunch at 12:30pm. An annual $50 membership brings discounts on classes and workshops.
