British ensemble Forced Entertainment has created abridged versions of each of Shakespeare's works, which the performers play out on a table top with everyday objects (a bar of soap, a bottle of glue) representing each of the characters. The company presents 12 of these pieces over three nights at the MCA as part of Shakespeare 400 Chicago.
