Michael John LaChiusa’s 1999 musical tragedy, written for Audra McDonald, crosses Medea with Marie Laveau in the tale of the title character’s journey from New Orleans to Chicago to death row in the 19th century. Lili-Anne Brown’s revival for BoHo Theatre features much of the city’s finest non-Equity musical-theater talent, led by Kyrie Courter and Ken Singleton.
