The Goodman's 11th annual festival of new American plays features developmental productions of Charise Castro Smith's dark comedy Feathers and Teeth, Andrew Hinderaker's prestidigitatory The Magic Play, and playwright provocateur Thomas Bradshaw's Carlyle, a political fantasia centered on an African-American Republican.
The fest's final weekend also includes staged readings of three additional scripts: Acquainted with the Night by Keith Reddin, Ugly by Tracey Scott Wilson, and Women Laughing Alone with Salad by Sheila Callaghan.
