Northlight Theatre last week revealed plans for four of the five slots in its 2014–15 season, including the first regional production of The Commons of Pensacola, the recent playwriting debut of actress Amanda Peet (September 12–October 19); a new production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap (November 7–December 14); a premiere by playwright Bruce Graham titled The White Guy on the Bus (January 23–March 1, 2015); and the new musical Shining Lives, adapted by Jessica Thebus, Andre Pluess and Amanda Dehnert from Melanie Marnich's play These Shining Lives (May 8–June 14, 2015).

UPDATE: On March 31, 2014, Northlight announced the final piece of the puzzle will be John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar (March 13–April 19, 2015). Artistic director BJ Jones will helm the Chicago premiere of the play, which had its Broadway debut in January. Northlight also revealed the directors for the previously announced plays in the season: Robin Witt will stage The Commons of Pensacola, Jonathan Berry will tackle The Mousetrap, Jones will direct The White Guy on the Bus and Thebus will stage Shining Lives.
