Porchlight Music Theatre mounts a one-night-only concert staging of the 1964 Broadway musical based on Clifford Odets's play of the same name about a conflicted prizefighter. With a book by Odets and William Gibson, lyrics by Lee Adams and music by Charles Strouse, the musical originally starred Sammy Davis Jr. Chuck Smith directs the staging, part of Porchlight's series of "unsung" musicals.
