Presented in tandem with the Smart Museum's exhibition “The Allure of Matter: Material Art from China,” this show features a cast of international artists performing the combination of acrobatics, martial arts, acting and singing traditional to Cantonese opera. Attendees unfamiliar with the art form will also have a chance to get a taste of a pre-show talk with UChicago professor Ariel Fox and Eva Tam, one of the evening's performers.
