Time Out says

Stanisław Lem's 1961 sci-fi novel Solaris has been adapted in several iterations over the years, perhaps most famously by filmmakers like Andrei Tarkovsky and Stephen Soderbergh. You can watch the story—which follows a group of scientists as they try to understand an ocean-like extraterrestrial lifeform on the titular planet—unfold onstage at the Raven Theatre this spring, when Griffin Theatre Company performs the North American premiere of playwright David Greig's theater adaptation.
