A Friday the 13th Literary-Themed Run with Local Author David Jay Collins

Join local organization Read & Run Chicago as it hosts local author David Jay Collins on a three-mile, literary-themed run in Andersonville. inspired by Collins' books Summerdale and Summerdale II—LGBTQ horror novels set in the same neighborhood—runners can expect to visit places featured in the stories and get the inside scoop on the writing process. Following the run, Eli Tea Bar will host Read & Run Chicago and Collins for book discussion. One drink from Eli and light bites are included with the ticket, and all runners will go home with a sample of Candyality’s spooky caramel corn blend Summerdale Crunch.
