The fluorescent lighting and speckled-tile floor has the charm and cachet of Family Dollar, and some of the clubwear looks like the unfortunate design lovechild of Marilyn Manson and Paris Hilton, but still, a few items stand out: hippie-chic, embroidered Lyie blouses ($19) and stretchy tees ($26) that won’t show up on every other girl at the bar. Unless your Chinese is fluent, expect to do some pantomiming with the friendly staff.
