Usually held in conjunction with the Newberry Library's annual book sale, the Bughouse Square debates allow rabble-rousers from throughout the city to get on a soap box in Washington Square Park and (respectfully) argue their point of view. This year, the event will take place via Facebook Live, allowing anyone to submit a proposal for a short speech based around the theme of "voting." Reach out to organizers to pitch your speech or tune in to hear some impassioned speakers.
