Chinese New Year Celebration at the Art Institute

Celebrate the Year of the Pig at the Art Institute with an afternoon of activities in the Ryan Learning Center. Kids can create their own dancing dragon and decorate a traditional red envelope while familes will be able to participate in gallery tours. The afternoon culminates with a lantern procession to Maggie Daley Park at 5pm, where guests can take part in a lion dance, art making and ice skating.
