Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Every year, the Museum of Science and Industry puts up its 45-foot-tall Grand Tree and surrounds the towering pine with more than 40 trees that represent Chicago's various communities and their respective holiday celebrations. With the museum currently closed to visitors due to Illinois Tier 3 mitigations, MSI is hosting live online tours that allow you to experience the festive exhibition from home.

Tune in and admire the 30,000 lights that cover the trees as well as the accompanying "Holidays of Light" exhibition, which recognizes the traditions of Chinese New Year, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and more seasonal celebrations from around the world. During the free 45-minute tour, you'll learn about the stories behind each of the trees from MSI manager of volunteer projects Kristina Wilkes.
