The Heartland Alliance's National Immigrant Justice Center and the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events are inviting audiences to dig deeper into the system of deportation with a screening of the documentary, The Deportation of Innocence, which explores what happens to four children when their parents are deported. The film will be followed by a discussion with a panel of experts including representatives from the Mayor's office, Heartland Alliance and Chicago Public Schools.
