Time Out says

Celebrate monarch butterflies as they begin their lengthy migration journey from Chicago to Mexico during this annual event at the Peggy Notebaert Museum, where members of the public are invited to partake in butterfly tagging demos, take guided plant walks and make monarch-related crafts with reps from the National Museum of Mexican Art. Plus, hear from the chief curator of the Chicago Academy of Sciences/Peggy Notebaert Museum Dr. Doug Taron as he discusses why monarchs were recently listed as an endangered species—and what you can do to help protect them.
