Help a furry friend find its forever home at PAWS Chicago's Holiday Adopt-a-Thon on December 7 and 8. The no-kill shelter will extend its hours this weekend to help connect local animal lovers with more than 100 homeless dogs and cats. Stop by on Friday or Saturday from 11am to 11pm to meet the good boys and girls that are available (or start looking at adoptable animals now).
While this event is holiday-themed, it's important to note that pets are not suitable holiday gifts.
