Indie City Book Fair

Hyde Park has a new book fair featuring the works of Chicago’s local talent. Hear local and indie authors give 30-minute readings and browse works from self-published authors and independent presses spanning children’s stories, young adult, women’s fiction, adventure, horror, science fiction and paranormal tales. The Southside Hub of Production (SHoP)—a collective of interdisciplinary artists, writers and independent cultural organizations—hosts the inaugural event.
