Lincoln Park Gyro Fest

Get ready to yell "Opa!" at the Lincoln Park Gyro Fest, a three-day event celebrating the iconic Greek dish with live music, kids' activities and (of course) plenty of gyros. Order a sampler plate of four gyros from across the world and vote for your favorite at the end of the weekend. True gyros devotees can even sign up for the fest's gyro eating contest on Saturday, September 10 at 4pm. Admission is free, but proceeds from donations go to St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lincoln Park.
