Time Out says

The Little Village Mexican Independence Day Parade returns to its namesake neighborhood for the first time in two years this September, traversing a stretch of 26th Street ahead of Mexican Independence day on September 16. The theme of this year's procession—which includes mariachi bands, colorful floats and folkloric dancing—is “Nuestra Unidad es Nuestra Fortaleza” (Our Unity is Our Strength), celebrating the culture and unity that holds the Little Village community together. The parade runs between Albany and Kostner on 26th Street.
